Monitor and control a live room

Open the room from the dashboard or Waiting Rooms. Verify the room name, state, and protected scope before using any control.

Watch waiting shoppers, admitted shoppers, current admission pace, and connection/freshness information. Queue joins are not completed orders. A temporarily disconnected browser can still retain its place; connected shoppers and waiting shoppers need not be the same number.

If updates stop, read the refresh-status message and use the offered refresh/reconnect action. Do not interpret an old screen as a current zero. Historical totals and final results are separate from the live view; see Analytics.

  1. Confirm the room is active and ready to admit.
  2. Choose Admit shoppers.
  3. Select 1, 5, 10, or 25 shoppers in the dialog.
  4. Check stock and active-admission capacity, then confirm Admit shoppers once.
  5. Verify the reported result and live counters before another batch.

Manual admission does not change the saved admission rate or reorder the queue. It is not an unlimited override of the room’s safety controls.

Action When to use it
Open waiting room Open a published room configured to open on activation with a pre-queue
Begin admissions Begin the admission flow for an eligible scheduled room without a pre-queue
Pause waiting room Temporarily stop an active room’s admission flow
Resume waiting room Resume a paused room
Retry publishing Recover the existing room when publication is pending
Recover room opening / Recover admissions Use the specific recovery action shown for an overdue transition
Close as sold out End availability for an eligible merchandise room
End waiting room Finish an active, paused, sold-out, or bypassed room
Cancel waiting room Cancel a draft, scheduled room, or pre-queue
Emergency bypass Deliberately bypass this room’s protection
Restore queue Restore a bypassed room through the displayed flow

Review the confirmation and wait for the result. Closing a browser, disabling the theme embed, or changing a display card does not perform these actions.

Use room-level bypass only when you intend to change shopper access for that room. It is different from Settings → Emergency global bypass, which affects every published waiting room. Global restoration uses Restore protection.

After either bypass or restoration, check the resulting room state and supported shopper/checkout journey. If synchronization is pending, use the shown recovery flow or contact support; do not repeatedly toggle controls to make a warning disappear.

End or cancel through the applicable control, verify its final status, then review history. If final analytics says recovery is pending or unavailable, keep that distinction in your report. Ending a test is not a promise that all plan usage is refunded.
