Set up with Shopify Sidekick

Shopify Sidekick can help prepare a QueueFront waiting room or product waiting list. It gives you a setup link that opens a prefilled QueueFront form. You review the suggestions and save the draft yourself.

  1. Open Shopify Sidekick in your store’s Shopify admin.
  2. Ask for a QueueFront waiting room. Include the product, a room name, the opening date and time with its time zone, and any admission rate or queue capacity you want to suggest.
  3. Open the QueueFront setup link in Sidekick’s response.
  4. Confirm the selected product. If QueueFront could not verify it, use the Shopify product picker to choose it.
  5. Review the schedule, admission rate and capacity. Continue through the normal setup steps to check appearance and the other available controls.
  6. Choose Save draft. Publish separately only after reviewing the launch checklist.

For example, ask: “Help me set up a QueueFront waiting room for my Aurora Snowboard launch. Suggest 30 shoppers per minute and a queue capacity of 1,000.” Add your intended opening date, time and time zone before saving.

Success check: the correct product and settings appear in a saved QueueFront draft. A setup link or Sidekick response alone does not create a saved room.

  1. Ask Sidekick to help set up a QueueFront product waiting list and name the product.
  2. Open the setup link and select or confirm the product in QueueFront.
  3. Review the form and save the draft.
  4. Complete sender setup and product signup placement before making signups available.

Waiting-list assistance suggests the product. Room schedules, admission rates and queue capacity belong to the waiting-room workflow.

The current integration assists with setup. It does not autonomously publish rooms, send notifications, change billing, or manage existing rooms. QueueFront still applies its normal store access, product validation, plan and publication checks.

Do not put passwords, access tokens or shopper contact information in your setup request. Product names and the intended room settings are enough.

Why is the suggested product not selected? QueueFront verifies product IDs against the signed-in store. If a product is unavailable or Sidekick supplied only its title, select it using the product picker.

Why did a suggested time or capacity disappear? QueueFront does not apply a start time that has already passed or a suggested queue capacity above the current plan allowance. Choose a new time or an allowed capacity in the form.

What if the link is invalid? QueueFront shows a notice and leaves the settings for you to enter. Nothing is saved just by opening an invalid link. You can also start from Create waiting room or the normal Waiting List flow.

Can I edit the suggestions? Yes. The form is yours to review and change before saving. Check the product, time zone and schedule even when they were included in your request.

Can I use Sidekick to edit an existing room? Use the room’s normal QueueFront controls. The current Sidekick integration prepares new setups.
