Connect your theme

Choose the theme in Online Store → Themes before editing. Start with an unpublished copy; saving that copy does not update your published store.

  1. Open the chosen theme in Shopify’s theme editor.
  2. Open App embeds and turn on QueueFront protection.
  3. Save the theme. Choose protected products, collections, or storefront scope inside QueueFront; the embed has no settings of its own.
  4. Preview a page covered by the room. Check both the room experience and the separate checkout checks in the app.

The Enable in Shopify shortcut opens the embed on your published theme. For a test theme, open the intended copy from Themes instead. Automatic connection status checks the published theme; a manually confirmed test theme is different evidence.

To disable the embed, switch it off and save. This does not pause the waiting room or disable checkout validation. Manage room state in QueueFront separately.

QueueFront page is a display card for a compatible Online Store 2.0 section. Add it from Apps, set the event name, message, displayed status, waiting-room URL, and accent, then preview and save. Its displayed status is manual; it does not change the room. Keep the optional VIP action off unless that separate flow has been verified. Reposition or remove it like any app block.
