Troubleshooting
Start with the specific symptom. Record the time and visible message before changing settings; it helps distinguish a temporary state from a repeatable issue.
The theme says it is not connected
Section titled “The theme says it is not connected”- Check the exact theme you edited. An unpublished copy is not the published theme.
- Confirm QueueFront protection is enabled under App embeds and the theme was saved.
- Reopen the editor to verify the saved state.
- Use the app’s connection check. A manually confirmed test theme does not establish the published theme’s status.
The product signup form is missing
Section titled “The product signup form is missing”Check the product’s assigned template, app-block support in its section, and the saved QueueFront waitlist block. Then review the matching product waiting list, its state, sender readiness, and the forms/sending preference. The editor preview can differ from the live product page.
A room will not publish
Section titled “A room will not publish”Review the app’s specific warning first: scope, schedule, required checks, supported-checkout acknowledgement, or allowance. A schedule can become outdated while you edit. If publication is pending, use the room’s recovery action rather than creating duplicates.
An admitted shopper cannot continue
Section titled “An admitted shopper cannot continue”Use the normal storefront journey and check whether access has expired. Review the intended product/cart, protected scope, and supported validation path. Changing the embed does not remove every checkout rule. Do not promise protection on purchase paths outside the supported scope.
Email is not arriving
Section titled “Email is not arriving”- Check sender verification and whether sending is enabled.
- Inspect the list’s state, subscriber eligibility, and confirmation requirement.
- Confirm that the notification action was actually taken; a preview is not a send.
- Inspect the delivery result and remaining allowance.
- Check the controlled recipient inbox, including spam, without repeatedly resending.
Do not override an unsubscribe, expired confirmation, or suppression just to make a test pass.
Usage looks unexpected
Section titled “Usage looks unexpected”Distinguish used from reserved allowance and confirm the current plan. A plan change does not reset recorded usage. Stop before creating more tests if the allowance is exhausted.
Contact support with useful details
Section titled “Contact support with useful details”Send the store domain, affected room/list name, approximate time, expected result, actual result, and a redacted screenshot or error message. Open Help and resources or use the support page. Leave out customer records, passwords, access tokens, and admission links containing secrets.
The room is open but admissions have stopped
Section titled “The room is open but admissions have stopped”Check whether it is still in pre-queue, paused, or at its active-admission limit. Review stock, safety buffer, slowdown/pause thresholds, and plan allowance. Use Refresh inventory or the offered state recovery action when appropriate. Live-room controls.
An invite code or priority rule is not working
Section titled “An invite code or priority rule is not working”Check the saved rule on the intended room, code-preservation notice, and ordinary versus priority path. Customer tags require the feature to be enabled and the shopper to sign in with a matching customer account. A notification subscription does not grant priority. Access rules.
Shoppers report a challenge or block
Section titled “Shoppers report a challenge or block”Open Bot Protection, check the room override and active blocks, and inspect Why this score and the visible error. A shared-network block can affect legitimate shoppers. Remove a mistaken block through its scoped control; investigate before changing the store-wide mode. Bot Protection guide.
Queue progress or an image looks wrong
Section titled “Queue progress or an image looks wrong”Compare the saved editor configuration with the actual shopper page. A hidden/monitor-only progress setting is intentional, and an unreliable estimate may be suppressed. Check Shopify image availability and whether a slideshow has at least two images. Appearance · Progress and reconnect.
The custom email domain remains unverified
Section titled “The custom email domain remains unverified”Compare every displayed DNS name, type, and value with the provider’s saved records, then use Check verification. Allow for propagation; do not repeatedly replace unrelated mail records. Verification does not itself enable sending. Sender setup.
Analytics looks empty or incomplete
Section titled “Analytics looks empty or incomplete”Check the selected room/view and whether the screen says recovering, unavailable, or Not tracked. A dash is not zero; dispatch is not confirmed receipt. Clearing analytics will not repair missing history or reset usage. Analytics definitions.
