Start with a recipe
Recipes provide starting settings for common launch and notification workflows. They do not publish automatically or guarantee the right capacity for your store.
Create from a recipe
Section titled “Create from a recipe”- Open Recipes. Use the type filters or search to find a suitable example.
- Read its purpose and choose Use recipe.
- Select the offered outputs: a Waiting Room, a Waiting List, or both where the recipe supports them.
- Choose the merchandise type offered by that recipe and use Select from Shopify to pick the intended resource. Check the selected title; use Change if needed.
- Review admission order, rate, capacity, purchase limit, and whether a list draft will be created.
- Choose Continue to full setup for a room, or Create Waiting List draft for a list-only setup.
- Review the resulting draft, theme placement, schedule, branding, allowance, and final publication checks.
Success check: the intended draft opens with the correct Shopify target and starting controls. It is not a live launch merely because the recipe completed.
Use a custom setup
Section titled “Use a custom setup”Choose Create custom setup, then the room or list workflow you need. This starts the ordinary setup process without treating a recipe as mandatory.
Common questions
Section titled “Common questions”Can I change the suggested values? Yes. Review and adjust them in the complete setup flow before publishing.
Why is a merchandise type unavailable? Recipes expose only the types they support. Use another recipe or a custom setup for a different scope.
Does creating both connect every part of the launch? Review the room and list independently, including sender readiness and theme placement. A draft list does not establish delivery or give subscribers priority admission.
