QueueFront terms of service
Effective date: 2026-10-08
These Terms govern a Shopify merchant’s access to QueueFront, a service of AtlasFlare LLC. The merchant accepts these Terms and the Merchant Data Agreement through QueueFront’s agreement screen after reviewing the published versions. The person accepting represents that they have authority to bind the merchant. QueueFront records the applicable document versions and acceptance time. Installation or opening a policy link does not by itself create an acceptance record in QueueFront.
1. Service
QueueFront provides branded waiting rooms, controlled admission, product waiting lists, consent-based notifications, inventory/capacity controls, Shopify checkout validation, merchant configuration, diagnostics, and related support. The documentation and merchant UI identify the functions included in the merchant’s current plan or pilot. Optional SMS requires assisted setup, merchant verification and carrier approval before activation.
Shopify Sidekick-assisted setup can prepare suggestions and open a prefilled QueueFront form. The merchant reviews the product and settings and chooses whether to save. This integration does not autonomously publish rooms, send notifications, change billing or manage existing rooms. Shopify provides Sidekick under its own platform terms.
Admission is authoritative only when QueueFront issues a valid admission result. Position and estimated wait information are informational, bounded, approximate where stated, and fail closed when the required proof is absent. QueueFront may use Admission Continuity Mode, emergency bypass, pausing, or other documented safety states to protect checkout and merchant operations.
QueueFront does not guarantee elimination of bots, overselling, duplicate purchases, token sharing, abusive traffic, inventory delay, or infrastructure failure. A waiting-room display is not a promise that a shopper will be admitted or able to purchase inventory.
2. Accounts and authorized use
The merchant must:
- maintain an active Shopify account and provide only permissions reasonably required for enabled QueueFront functions;
- keep Shopify staff accounts, authentication methods, and support contacts accurate and secure;
- configure events, capacity, inventory thresholds, protected targets, dates, copy, and emergency behavior accurately;
- test QueueFront on an unpublished theme and approved store before a live launch;
- use QueueFront only for lawful products, stores, and traffic; and
- promptly report suspected compromise or a material configuration error.
The merchant must not bypass security controls, probe another tenant, reverse engineer protected service components except where law expressly permits, misrepresent position or admission results, upload malicious content, or use QueueFront to violate Shopify’s terms or applicable law.
3. Merchant content and instructions
The merchant retains its rights in branding, event copy, catalog selections, and other merchant content. The merchant grants AtlasFlare LLC a limited right to host, process, and display that content only as needed to provide and secure QueueFront. The merchant warrants that it has the rights and permissions needed for the content and processing instructions it supplies.
QueueFront processes merchant customer data under the Merchant Data Agreement. The merchant is responsible for its own privacy notices, consents, legal bases, product terms, fulfillment, refunds, taxes, inventory, and customer service.
4. Beta and pilot use
A private Beta or pilot is pre-release service. Features can be incomplete, changed, suspended, or removed. AtlasFlare LLC may impose event, traffic, storage, or support limits and may require a launch plan, rollback check, or supervised window. Beta merchants must not represent QueueFront as generally available or rely on it without the documented Shopify and merchant fallback.
Feedback may be used to improve QueueFront without identifying the merchant or disclosing confidential information. Merchant/customer data is not used to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
5. Fees
Any app charges must be presented and approved through Shopify App Pricing or
the Shopify Billing API. A private $0 development or pilot plan creates no
right to future free service. Before any paid plan or price change takes
effect, QueueFront will present the amount, billing period, usage basis, and
effective timing through the approved Shopify flow. Shopify’s refund and
billing rules also apply.
6. Availability, changes, and suspension
QueueFront will use reasonable care to operate the service but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Planned maintenance and incidents are communicated through the published status/support surfaces when available.
AtlasFlare LLC may suspend an event or account to address a security threat, protect checkout or another tenant, prevent unlawful use, comply with law, or avoid material platform harm. When practical, QueueFront will explain the reason and restoration conditions to the merchant.
7. Confidentiality and security
Each party must protect non-public information received from the other and use it only for the relationship. QueueFront’s Privacy Policy, Security Disclosure, Merchant Data Agreement, and subprocessor disclosure form part of the trust package. Merchants must not send secrets or unnecessary shopper data through support channels.
8. Intellectual property
AtlasFlare LLC and its licensors retain all rights in QueueFront, including its software, documentation, designs, and marks. Except for the limited right to use the service during the agreement, no rights are transferred. Third-party components remain subject to their applicable licenses.
9. Termination and data disposition
Either party may end a private pilot as provided in the pilot order or by reasonable written notice. The merchant may uninstall the app at any time. Uninstall triggers session deletion, event quiescence, and the documented Shopify privacy lifecycle. Limited completion/replay, security and telecom reconciliation evidence, legal holds, and encrypted backup copies may remain as described in the Privacy Policy and Merchant Data Agreement. Retained store and provider references are not necessarily anonymous. Retention requires an applicable purpose, and valid deletion requests and retention exceptions must be assessed under that documented process.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including payment, confidentiality, ownership, disclaimers, liability, and data disposition—will survive.
10. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUEUEFRONT AND ALL BETA FEATURES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” ATLASFLARE LLC DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING. THESE DISCLAIMERS DO NOT LIMIT RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE WAIVED.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER PARTY WILL BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OR DATA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. EXCEPT FOR AMOUNTS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED, EACH PARTY’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM QUEUEFRONT WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF USD 100 OR THE FEES THE MERCHANT PAID FOR QUEUEFRONT DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.
The exclusions and cap do not apply to a party’s fraud, willful misconduct, breach of confidentiality, infringement of the other party’s intellectual property, or indemnification obligations to the extent applicable law does not permit limitation.
12. Indemnity
The merchant will defend and indemnify AtlasFlare LLC from third-party claims arising from the merchant’s unlawful products, content, instructions, or use of QueueFront, except to the extent caused by AtlasFlare LLC. AtlasFlare LLC will defend and indemnify the merchant from a third-party claim that the unmodified QueueFront service infringes that party’s intellectual-property right, subject to prompt notice, control of the defense, and reasonable cooperation. Available remedies may include modification, replacement, or termination with a refund of prepaid unused fees.
13. General
The parties are independent contractors. Neither party may assign the agreement except in connection with a merger, reorganization, or sale of substantially all relevant assets, or with the other’s consent. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be narrowed and the remainder continues. Delay in enforcement is not a waiver. These Terms and the incorporated QueueFront documents are the agreement about the service and supersede prior discussions.
Applicable law and venue are those stated in an executed pilot order or other merchant agreement. If no executed agreement specifies them, the parties will use the law and courts with jurisdiction over AtlasFlare LLC’s principal place of business in Iowa, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer or statutory rights remain unaffected.
Notices and support use Shopify’s Get support action or the monitored channels identified on the published Support page. These Terms are effective from the date above. A merchant’s acceptance is recorded separately through the agreement flow.
